# P320 Gmail Evernote Bridge - Installation Guide

**Version:** 0.2.44  
**Package:** `p320-pilot-0.2.44.zip`  
**Compatibility:** Desktop Google Chrome on Windows and macOS, including Chrome on a MacBook Pro.

## Requirements

- Desktop Google Chrome. Chrome mobile is not supported.
- Access to Gmail in Chrome.
- An authorized P320 pilot phone number.
- No Chrome Web Store account or separate Mac package is required.

## Download and install

1. Download `p320-pilot-0.2.44.zip` from the download link.
2. Extract the ZIP into a permanent folder. Do not delete the folder after installation.
3. In Chrome, open `chrome://extensions/`.
4. Turn on **Developer mode**.
5. Click **Load unpacked** and select the extracted folder containing `manifest.json`.
6. Accept the requested access for Gmail and the P320 server.
7. Refresh Gmail. The P320 button should appear in a new Gmail compose window.

## First-time activation

1. Open the P320 settings page from the extension card or the P320 panel (**⚙ הגדרות**).
2. Enter the authorized pilot phone number using digits only.
3. Click **Save phone and load from server**.
4. The extension loads the authorized projects, tags, and Evernote destination.
5. An unknown phone number receives no configuration and cannot use the picker.

## Use

The P320 panel is in Hebrew. Button and field names are shown as they appear on screen.

1. Open a Gmail compose window and write the subject normally.
2. Click the P320 button.
3. Select a client/project (**לקוח / פרויקט**) and any tags (**תגיות**). The final subject appears in the preview.
4. To save a copy to the server, use **שמירה בשרת - שמירה במקום חכם**:
   - Turn on **ארכוב ב-Dropbox** and choose one document type (**סוג מסמך לארכוב**), or choose **תכנון** to pick a planning consultant (**יועץ**) and stage (**שלב**). The consultant list is searchable by code or name.
   - The archive copy goes only in **Bcc**, and only for the message where you turned archiving on. Evernote and project recipients stay in visible Cc.
5. Click **עדכן טיוטה**. P320 only updates the draft subject and recipients.
6. Review the subject, Cc and Bcc, then send with Gmail's normal **Send** button. P320 never sends automatically.

Subject order after archiving is `title @NNNN #documentType #tag1 #tag2`. Applying again replaces the previous suffix instead of adding a second one.

### Tags

Tag categories and tags can be added, renamed and removed on the settings page. A server refresh does not overwrite your custom categories.

## Known limits of this version

- Version 0.2.31 was the last version verified end to end in real Gmail. Versions 0.2.32 to 0.2.44 passed the automated tests (450/450) but live Gmail acceptance of the Bcc archive and the planning picker has not been recorded.
- If Cc/Bcc behaves unexpectedly, open **Diagnostics** in the panel and click **Copy report** and send the report with a screenshot. Do not include private data.

## macOS note

This is the same Chrome extension package used on Windows. It contains browser JavaScript and has no Windows executable or native Windows dependency, so Chrome on macOS can load the same ZIP. The exact Gmail behavior still depends on the Chrome/Gmail account and should be checked after installation.

## Remove or update

- Remove it from `chrome://extensions/`.
- To update a loaded unpacked copy, extract the new package to a folder and use **Reload** or load the new folder.
